Terms of use
The terms on which founders and funders may use the GFIRS platform.
Last updated: July 2026
The summary below sets out how GFIRS operates today. The complete policy is being finalised with our advisers and will replace this page on publication. For anything not covered here, contact hello@gfirs.com.
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using the GFIRS platform you agree to these terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
The pilot programme
The platform is currently operating as a pilot. Features, methodology versions and scoring may change during the pilot period. We will tell you about material changes affecting a published rating.
Your responsibilities
You agree that the information and documents you submit are accurate, complete and not misleading, and that you have the right to share them with us. Ratings depend on the quality of what is submitted.
Submitting information you know to be false or misleading may result in your rating being withdrawn and your account suspended.
Ratings and publication
GFIRS produces ratings independently, applying its published methodology. A rating reflects the information available at a point in time. We may decline to issue a rating, and we may withdraw or amend a rating where information proves inaccurate.
You control whether your rating and profile are published to funders.
Intellectual property
The GFIRS methodology, platform, and the ratings it produces remain the intellectual property of GFIRS Intelligence Ventures Limited. You retain ownership of the information and documents you submit, and you grant us the licence needed to produce, publish and support your rating.
Not financial advice
GFIRS ratings are informational. They are not financial, legal or investment advice, and they are not a recommendation to invest, lend or grant. See our rating disclaimer.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, particularly during the pilot. To the extent permitted by law, GFIRS is not liable for decisions made by third parties in reliance on a rating.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
